Crawling Out of the Doldrums

Hello, darlings. It’s been a short while, and while a million things could explain what’s been going on with me, it can be summarized by this picture…

“Astarion is about to have a fucking aneurysm.”

I’ve weathered the end of a long standing volunteer position I’ve had with a failing non-profit, a myriad of mental health struggles both with me and my kids, and slogging through book revisions that’ve taken longer than expected.

The good news is: the revisions are going really well and the book, while late, is going to be the better for it. The kids are doing better, as am I. And I’m finding a new way of giving back to my community.

So, I’m ready to resume posting here.

I’m going to be setting up a few posts and picking up where the stories left off. In the meantime, thank you for your patience. It’s good to be back.
