Synopsis:
In the year 1895, John Sullivan is a successful businessman, in search of a spell that can solve his problems back home. But when he comes up short on a deal with a dangerous fae, he is forced to team up with a vampire con artist named Clinton Galloway to fulfill his debt.
Galloway is bound to Sullivan for one important reason: he’s why Sullivan couldn’t pay off the fae. But as they work together to find a way to pay his debt, Sullivan finds himself drawn to Galloway in ways that threaten to take his eyes off the prize.
As they travel through a dark and dangerous magical market in London, Sullivan and Galloway must learn to trust each other if they want to survive. And as they grow closer, they leave themselves vulnerable not only to the creatures of the magical market. But also, to each other.
